My journey into the world of wellness started back in 2019 after trying just about every diet in the world. As a certified nutritionist, I've taken a more wholistic approach to health and dedicated myself to translating nutrition so that is can be implemented by anyone.
I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from yourself. To push through when your body is asking you to stop. To try everything and still feel like something is missing.Yoga therapy changed that for me. And now it’s the work I get to do every day.
I came to yoga over a decade ago at a moment when I felt lost and ungrounded. Within my first few classes, something shifted, not just physically, but in the way I understood myself. I became curious. Then devoted.
Over the years, I moved through teacher training and then deeper into therapeutic training, studying under some of the world’s leading yoga therapists and healthcare professionals. After 1,000+ hours of specialized study and years of working with clients navigating real pain, grief, and chronic stress, I opened Root & Revive to create a space for that deeper kind of healing.
I believe your body is not broken. It’s communicating. My job is to help you hear it — and to offer you the specific tools, practices, and support that bring your system back into balance. Each session is built entirely around you: your patterns, your pace, your goals. And every recommendation I make is designed to fit into your real life, not an idealized version of it.

Nervous system science. The more I learn about it, the more it blows my mind.
I spent years feeling disconnected from my own body — that's what led me here.
"Angela has deepened my practice and eliminated chronic back and shoulder pain. Her guidance has made a real difference in my physical, mental, and emotional quality of life. I came to Angela completely burned out — running on cortisol and coffee and pretending everything was fine. Within three sessions I had a breathwork practice that actually worked, and for the first time in years I started sleeping through the night. I didn't know healing could feel this personal."

"I came in for back pain and left with an entirely different relationship to stress. I didn't expect the emotional side of this work — but Angela created a space where it felt safe to go there. My pain is better, my sleep is better, and I actually look forward to my practice every morning.!"

"I'd tried therapy, acupuncture, and every wellness app on the market. Nothing stuck. What Angela does is different — she actually assessed my nervous system, explained what she found, and built me a practice around my real life. Six months later I feel like I live in my body again instead of just surviving in it."

"I was skeptical that yoga therapy was any different from a regular yoga class. It is completely different. Angela spent the first session just listening and assessing — no poses, no pressure. By the end of our third month together my chronic hip pain had reduced significantly and my anxiety felt manageable for the first time in years."

"As someone who had never done yoga and was pretty resistant to the idea, I was surprised by how grounded and practical Angela's approach is. She met me exactly where I was — no judgment, no jargon. Three months in my blood pressure is down and I have tools I actually use every single day."
Guide includes accessible practices for regulating the nervous system — breathwork, a body scan, a grounding sequence.
